¡Baja California prepares to welcome the world! The border state has been chosen as the official headquarters of the Mexico Tourist Market 2025, the most important fair in the tourism sector in Latin America.
This event, whichwill take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, will bring together the main actors of the national and international tourism industry, with the aim of promoting the richness and diversity of Mexico as a tourist destination.
The Secretary of Tourism, Miguel Ángel Torruco, provided details about the origin of the visitors to Baja California in 2023, indicating that 90% come from the United States, while the rest arrives mainly from China, Canada and the United Kingdom. Regarding air transport, 45,691 flights were registered, an increase of 4.7% compared to 2022.
The choice of Baja California, over Puebla and Nuevo León, as the headquarters is no coincidence. The state has a wide variety of tourist attractions, from paradisiacal beaches and vibrant cities to impressive deserts and magical towns full of history and tradition.
In addition, Baja California has positioned itself as a leader in sustainable tourism, with a strong commitment to environmental protection and the development of local communities.
