Tourism authorities of our country inaugurated the exposure "Baja California in Masaryk”, in the state that will host the 49th edition of the Tianguis Turístico México 2025.

The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués He noted that visitors will be able to learn about the tourist attractions of the state of Baja California, as well as its vast gastronomic and artisanal wealth, highlighting that it is the main producer of wine in Mexico.

“In September, Point Mexico It will be the showcase for Baja California to promote its many tourist attractions and market its beautiful artisanal products made from beads, leather, plant fibers, suede, among other materials.

“In addition, they will be able to enjoy the interesting exhibition of the artist Jorge Sanchez, who, through previously unpublished photographs, shows us the essence of the indigenous peoples of Baja California,” he commented.

The head of Sectur indicated that Baja California is mainly known for the Bufadora, a spectacular marine geyser; the Rumorosa, an impressive natural setting; its paradisiacal beaches: Rosarito, San Felipe, Punta San José, among others; the Wine Route, which covers more than 60 production wineries; Tecate, a picturesque Magical Town that received the update of this distinction in 2023; and La Chinesca, which also last year obtained the designation as a Magical Neighborhood.

For his part, the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguiniga Rodriguez, said:

“I am thrilled to be able to share a part of Baja California in Mexico City, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the rich culture of the Yuman people, marvel at our stunning natural landscapes, and taste 'The Most Revolutionary Gastronomy in Mexico.'”

The exhibition “Baja California in Masaryk” will be on display at Punto México until September 26 at Av. Presidente Masaryk No. 172, corner with Hegel, Bosques de Chapultepec neighborhood, Miguel Hidalgo municipality, Mexico City, from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m., and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
