Tourism authorities of our country inaugurated the exposure "Baja California in Masaryk”, in the state that will host the 49th edition of the Tianguis Turístico México 2025.

“Baja California in Masaryk” will be active during the month of September in the Punto México space of the Ministry of Tourism (Sectur).

The Secretary of Tourism of the Government of Mexico, Miguel Torruco Marqués He noted that visitors will be able to learn about the tourist attractions of the state of Baja California, as well as its vast gastronomic and artisanal wealth, highlighting that it is the main producer of wine in Mexico.

“In September, Point Mexico It will be the showcase for Baja California to promote its many tourist attractions and market its beautiful artisanal products made from beads, leather, plant fibers, suede, among other materials.

“In addition, they will be able to enjoy the interesting exhibition of the artist Jorge Sanchez, who, through previously unpublished photographs, shows us the essence of the indigenous peoples of Baja California,” he commented.

The head of Sectur indicated that Baja California is mainly known for the Bufadora, a spectacular marine geyser; the Rumorosa, an impressive natural setting; its paradisiacal beaches: Rosarito, San Felipe, Punta San José, among others; the Wine Route, which covers more than 60 production wineries; Tecate, a picturesque Magical Town that received the update of this distinction in 2023; and La Chinesca, which also last year obtained the designation as a Magical Neighborhood.

Baja California, future attractive actions for tourism

He mentioned that soon, in Tecate The painting of house facades will begin on 10 square meters, and in La Chinesca, the same will be done with 15 artistic murals, through the Magical Color Routes strategy, which will attract more national and foreign tourists, generating a greater economic impact.

He highlighted that Baja California's tourism offering will be enriched with a new "anchor" product in the Guadalupe Valley, Ensenada: Sassi del Valle, a large infrastructure project, inspired by the buildings of the beautiful city of Matera, Italy, a unique urban ecosystem, which takes us back to a prehistoric past.

For his part, the Secretary of Tourism of Baja California, Miguel Aguiniga Rodriguez, said:

“I am thrilled to be able to share a part of Baja California in Mexico City, where visitors will have the opportunity to explore the rich culture of the Yuman people, marvel at our stunning natural landscapes, and taste 'The Most Revolutionary Gastronomy in Mexico.'”

The exhibition “Baja California in Masaryk” will be on display at Punto México until September 26 at Av. Presidente Masaryk No. 172, corner with Hegel, Bosques de Chapultepec neighborhood, Miguel Hidalgo municipality, Mexico City, from Monday to Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 19:00 p.m., and Sundays and holidays from 9:00 a.m. to 18:00 p.m.
